The most wonderful time of the year is almost here! September, the first of the -Ber month has arrived, and expect all the classic holiday songs to be stuck in your brain as we countdown to Christmas. But the holidays aren’t only joyous for the gifts we receive, but a different type of joyous euphoria is reserved for people who make it a point to share their blessings.

So this 2018, let’s make it a point that we be one of those people who’ll make all our loved ones feel special with tangible proofs of how much we value them. To help you prepare for the December’s main event, here are three tips that will guide you through your Christmas shopping as the rest of the -Ber months go on.

Let It Rain, We’ve Got You!

There are only two seasons in the Philippines; Sunny and Rainy, and the first aid solution for both is to bring your umbrella.  When the sun shines dangerously bright, you can just pop out your umbrella to shield you from the harsh rays. When fate decides to unleash rains which could potentially flood the streets in a minute, your umbrella serves the beacon that guides you safely home.

But the rainy season does highlight things that we could be or should be doing. Here are three things you could consider doing during these dark, cold and days.

The Foundation of Our Lives

Quiet yet steady bundles of love hidden beneath strong masculine hands needed to raise and support human lives; this is what our Fathers personify. Dads are dubbed as the columns of the home, the foundations that keep us afloat and alive. Foundations are not loud and obvious, they are impeccably necessary that it is easy to forget the weight they carry on their shoulders.

We have associated June with the beginning of the academic year and the rainy season, but it is also the time we celebrate the extraordinary men that we have been blessed enough to call our Fathers. And here are few ways you can brighten up your Dad’s day.

As the wave of hype and fanfare dies down after the release of another Marvel Film, it is time to build that love and energy back up to celebrate yet another superhero, our Mothers! The personal Wonder women of our lives, our Moms!

We have commonly depicted our Mothers as soft and fragile, but the world has evolved and so have the light that we paint our Mothers in. Although, it has been obvious for the longest time it has only recently become a universal truth.  

And as Mother’s day approaches, it is time to treat them and give them what their due.  Of course, we are well aware that simply a day wouldn’t compare to the love and support that they have unselfishly given us since our very existence, but it wouldn’t hurt to make them feel special on their day!

2018 has been upon us for more than 100 days, but it feels as if all the days have only served as a build up to the year’s most awaited event. No more speculations if the hype would be worth it once more, it is here! And for two days, there was nothing left to do but to create memories that would quell us over as we anticipate next year’s another Team Building event.

‘Tis the season to be sweaty!

Dealing with the daily problems we encounter already takes up a lot of our energy. But now, March is here and of course, it did not forget to invite Simmering Summer Heat! Any mundane task we now do is 10x harder, with hellish heat glaring at us with every step we take.

Now let us choose to look at the bright side. There will be an influx of holidays approaching us and it is an opportune moment to take a break, and go to a place where you could actually enjoy the sunshine and all its glory.

For some of the young and single people including me, when the love month of February comes rolling around, the constant nagging need for a romantic partner always dwells somewhere in our minds. We become even more painfully aware of how single we truly are. But it really isn’t that bad, it’s actually pretty great!

Our innate human ability to love someone who we have never known is such a great feat. But can you just imagine if we focused all that desire, yearning and effort into ourselves? Imagine the “better you” you could possibly be. So, this Valentine’s instead of wallowing in your woes of being single, how about you cease the unbridled freedom that singlehood gifts us and see where it could take you?

A Father’s Battle

WINNING!  – is anyone’s goal when in a battle. Let us re-visit how some fathers handle their daily life’s battles.

The Soldier

He is in a real war, with guns, weapons and real enemies. He fights for the safety of others while leaving his family in their home without his guard. He keeps himself brave and focused on the war he is in, for it is not just his safety he is fighting for. He gives his family good life through the salary he is getting, but usually is not able to give them his family time due to the nature of his job. As a father, his battle is protecting others while being away from his family, and at the same time giving them good life. He struggles to win each war, to keep himself alive, be back to his home and be with his family. These, are his life’s battles.

Avid fans of the NBA have the playoffs to look forward to, local colleges have the UAAP and the NCAA to fuel their students’ school pride, but here at Finex we have the annual Summer Team Building. It may not be as famous as the Playoffs, the UAAP or the NCAA but the hype is truly real within the company.

The once in a year gathering of all of our branches to engage in an epic yet healthy competition  is one of the main highlights of each team member’s work calendar. This year, this highly anticipated event was held at the Bahay Bakasyunan, Tanay Rizal on April 28 to 29, 2017.

At Finex Marketing Services, we work hard and we celebrate harder!

There are two major events our company have been preparing for every year.  One is the Christmas/Awards party and the other one is summer event cum teambuilding.  Both activities are considered big deal by everyone in the organization because a lot of preparations are spent on these every time, not only in terms of money, but most especially the time and effort everyone has to share in. Although considered big, but for the management, these are just some of the little ways of thanking the people who contributed to the continuous growth of the company.
